Specify what is displayed on the map
- Click the Options tab.
- Select or deselect Show Name Labels to show or hide all labels.
- Select or deselect regions to show or hide information.
- Select or deselect the various types of locations.
- Click the Options tab a second time if you want to hide it.
These settings will be remembered the next time you visit WBSkiing.com.
Display a named location
- Click the Names tab.
- Optionally select a Region to only list names in that region.
- Optionally enter a portion of the location's name.
- Click a name in the list.
- Click the Names tab a second time if you want to hide it.
Move the map using your mouse
- Click and drag to move the map.
- Click and drag while holding the Shift key pressed to change your position while the center of the map remains stationary.
- Click and drag while holding the Ctrl key pressed to move the map while you remain stationary.
- Zoom in or out by rolling your mouse wheel or clicking and dragging with your right mouse button.
Move the map using your keyboard
Click anywhere on the map before using these keyboard commands.
- Press the arrow keys to move the map.
- Press the up and down arrow keys while holding the Shift key pressed to tilt the map while the center of the map remains stationary.
- Press the up and down arrow keys while holding the Ctrl key pressed to tilt the map you remain stationary.
- Press the left and right arrow keys while holding the Shift key pressed to rotate the map while the center of the map remains stationary.
- Press the left and right arrow keys while holding the Ctrl key pressed to rotate the map while you remain stationary.
- Zoom in or out by pressing the plus or minus keys.
- Press the [N] key to look to the north.
- Press the [R] key (Reset) to look north and directly at the ground.
Share a map location
Follow these steps to create a hyperlink to a specific location. This is a great way to let
someone know where you are going.
- Select a location on the Names tab.
- On Windows, press Ctrl+Alt+C. On a Mac, press Control+Option+C.
- A window will appear with a hyperlink to the location you selected.
- On Windows, press Ctrl+C to copy the hyperlink. On a Mac, press Command+C.
- Click OK or Cancel to close the hyperlink window.
- Paste the link wherever you want (e.g., in an email).
